A free email that lands at 6:00 every weekday morning: what's on today and this weekend, what's opening and closing, what council decided, in about three minutes. Local businesses pay a flat, published price to be in it.
Who reads it
People in Steinbach first, then the RM of Hanover (Mitchell, Blumenort, Grunthal, Kleefeld) and La Broquerie.
Every subscriber signed up on the Hey Steinbach website and confirmed by email. Nobody is added to the list any other way.
What you can buy
In every issue: one Featured Sponsor slot, the first sponsor block, directly below the lead; one second slot, after the editorial sections; and up to four classifieds. From 2,000 subscribers, a third and a fourth sponsor slot, after What's on and after From City Hall.
Job listings: C$75 for 30 days on the job board, and in the issue's jobs section for their first week, up to three a week.
The classifieds and job listings run together after the second slot.
Every paid unit carries the word SPONSORED and sits in a tinted block. Nothing paid appears above the lead.
Category exclusivity covers only the slots and weeks you buy. Classifieds and job listings stay open to everyone.
Launch offers
Two launch packages are on offer before the first issue.
Launch Featured Sponsor (one): the Featured Sponsor slot in every issue for 17 weeks, Monday 26 October 2026 to Friday 19 February 2027, about 85 issues. You're named as launch partner on the Hey Steinbach website and in the welcome email every new subscriber gets, from the day you pay. No competitor in any sponsor slot for the term, including a third and fourth slot if they open at 2,000 subscribers. C$1,200 + GST, paid in full before launch.
Launch second-slot sponsor (one): the second slot in every issue for the same 17 weeks, with the same launch-partner credit and exclusivity. C$900 + GST, paid in full before launch.
Both come with a full refund if the first issue hasn't gone out by Monday 16 November 2026, and a refund pro-rated by week if Hey Steinbach stops publishing during the term. Both renew at the published rate card.
If only one has sold by launch, the other stays on offer until Friday 13 November 2026, for 17 weeks from the Monday after payment.
Launch sponsorships pay for the Meta ads that build the list.

Prices follow the live subscriber count, read from MailerLite. The band we're in now is marked. All prices are in Canadian dollars, plus GST.

How booking works
Until self-serve checkout arrives in November, write to steinbach@heycity.ca with what you'd like and when. He sells every unit by invoice or payment link. Every price is plus GST, and the invoice shows the GST number.
What sponsorship does not buy
Editorial is not for sale. Sponsor copy never appears in the news sections, and sponsors have no say in what runs. When a sponsor is itself news, the item ends with a line naming the business as a Hey Steinbach sponsor.
Hey Steinbach uses no affiliate links and takes no pay-per-click, pay-per-open or pay-per-subscriber deals. Every buyer pays the published price.
